- Went to Hip Hop Advance Class in the morning..
- Went out for drinks at nearby St Hilda's with Instructor Ryan, Joan, Anjula, Carryn, Amanda, Shuwen and Royston..
- Talked about loads of things from dance to religions..
- Head off to pack the 3 dry tops that I have splatted yellow paint on.. Dint have enuff sleep cos of dat.. Took yellow pants, hair accessories and wrist bands..
- Proceed to Millenia Walk Jitterbugs Studio for last rehearsals..
- Mag went home for a while.. Toby and I went off to Zouk first to report in the afternoon.. The NUS peeps were there rehearsin their opening piece.. Wanna know a SHOCKING news? The other Final 3 teams were from NUS.. Sux rite.. The 3 solo finalists are all NUS too, except for Michael, TP.. We both were like WATT??!! Its okie.. We gonna do our BEST..
- Mag came after a while..
- Stage marking with Instructor Patrick Loo givin advise tho hes one of the judges.. Luvly..
- Briefing.. Great prizes for the Champion..
- Went to Mag's house for make-up and stuffs.. Thanx to Mag's parents for such a great companions and help to us.. Mag's craziest friends came.. Thanx for their support.. Luv y'all.. They're hell of fun ppl..
- Mag's parents send us to Zouk.. The friends on their own to Zouk..
- My friends are not comin at the last min.. Sad se.. But its okie..
- 9.30pm, the show began..
- Host --> WKRZ crews..
- Most crowds were from NUS.. *Grrrrrr*..
- Round 1 --> Preliminary 1 min choreo.. Decided by audience scream-meter.. 3 soloists/teams proceeded..
- Round 2 --> Given an Indian/Malay moves by The NUS Malay/Indian Instructors.. Its Zapin and classical Indian moves.. We have to learn 2/8s of them and appliy to our choreo ON THE SPOT.. Decided by the Indian and Malay NUS Instructors.. 2 soloists/teams proceeded..
Round 3 --> Battle began btw 2 soloists/teams.. 20 seconds, 3 times for each soloist/team.. Decided by the 3 panel of judges.. Instructor Patrick, a guy and a lady..
Soloists began..
- Soloist started off first.. 4 of them.. Rozanna (NUS), Jimmy (NUS), This Yuki's friend (NUS) and Michael (TP)..
- Round 1: Each at one corner pillar stage.. Grooved to the music.. Audience in the center cheerin for their soloists.. 1 min.. Stopped.. Scream-meter determined the results.. Michael is sadly out of round 1..
- Round 2: Rozanna got Malay moves.. Jimmy got Indian moves.. Yuki's friend got Malay moves.. Rozanna and Jimmy got into the last round..
- Round 3: Rozanna sexay moves swayed the audience away.. Jimmy shake his butt off and strip his pants and top, leavin his boxer, blasting the judges and audiences..
- WINNER: Jimmy (NUS) --> voucher, trip and Mini IPOD..
Teams began..
- 4 teams.. Shockwave (NUS), Fierce Phoenix (NUS), Naughty Unique Sexy (NUS) and DopeBeat Makers (us from TP)..
- Round 1: The crowds saved their voices for the scream-meter.. Once all the groups done with their preliminary 1 min grooves , the audiences screamed at the top of their heads.. Thanx to Mag's friends for we have the highest scream-meter.. Tho we have less than 10 ppl but their screaming were like thousands of ppl.. *Woohoo*.. Shockwave leaved the stage..
- Round 2: Fierce Phoenix got Indian moves.. NUS got Malay moves.. We got Indian moves.. In the end, its btw NUS and us..
- Round 3: Its sooo clear.. NUS were grooving to their freestyle.. No choreo at all.. We blasted with our full-power grooves and choreo.. "Simply saying, I like the yellow" - the guy judge.. "I like the same colour as yours too" - the lady judge.. "Eat ur hearts out, SMU.. I have never teach in polytechnics.. Congrats Mag".. - Instructor Patrick..
